Academic Integrity (AI) refers to the ethical principles and values that guide the behavior of individuals in the academic community. It includes honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility in academic activities such as study, research, writing, and assessment. Promoting academic integrity is a shared responsibility between students, teachers, and educational institutions. By adhering to these principles, individuals contribute to the academic community’s integrity, credibility, and reputation. We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 3rd ENAI Academic Integrity Summer School 2023 as a Learning Teaching Training Activity of the Facing Academic Integrity Threats (FAITH) project. It will be held in Maribor (University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Koroška cesta 46, SI-2000 Maribor) from 21st to 25th August. The main topics will be research integrity, data management, academic and research integrity breaches, plagiarism, contract cheating, academic writing, ethical publishing and dissemination, academic integrity policy, and academic Integrity in using AI tools. The Summer School explicitly targets students interested in academic and research integrity and is being organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Maribor All students that complete the 3rd ENAI Academic Integrity Summer School will be provided a certificate of completion and recommendation letter for the awarding of extra credits towards their academic programme in their home institution.
