The European Commission is inviting companies, public administrations and other organisations to submit proposals for co-funding under the Digital Europe programme. The aim of the programme, which is funded by the European Union, is to promote the use of digital technologies by businesses, citizens and public administrations. With a total budget of €7.5 billion, the programme aims to support projects in the fields of supercomputing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills and the widespread use of digital technologies, including through Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs). It aims to accelerate economic recovery and digital transformation in Europe, with a particular focus on supporting SMEs. The programme works in synergy with other EU-funded programmes and is part of the EU’s Multiannual Financial Framework 2021–2027.
