The Arnes HPC cluster is the second most powerful in Slovenia and is the only cluster used for learning how to use HPC, which is primarily used for Slovenian HPC trainings.

The Arnes HPC cluster supports educational and research applications, most notably in the fields in the fields of artificial intelligence and knowledge engineering, theoretical and particle physics, genomics, computational chemistry and large data processing.

The current cluster specifications are listed in the table below. The entry node for the Arnes HPC cluster is: hpc-login.arnes.si. The HPC system at Arnes was first activated in 2009. Since then it has undergone several upgrades, the latest of which was in 2023.
